Top 5 Virtual Pet Apps on iOS in Latvia: Q3 2024 Performance

In the third quarter of 2024, the virtual pet app category on iOS in Latvia saw varied performance among the top contenders. According to Sensor Tower data, each app demonstrated unique trends in weekly downloads and revenue.

Pengu – Raise Virtual AI Pets by SLAY GmbH showed a significant increase in weekly downloads, particularly towards the end of the quarter. Starting with modest numbers early in July, downloads surged to 1.5K in late September. Revenue, however, was sporadic, peaking at $20 in early July and ending the quarter with $14.

My Talking Tom from Outfit7 Limited maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, with slight fluctuations. Weekly downloads hovered around 100-190, while revenue saw a noticeable increase in September, reaching $60 in the week of September 23.

Applaydu Play & Discover by FERRERO TRADING LUX S.A. experienced a gradual rise in downloads over the quarter, peaking at 206 in mid-September. Despite this increase in user interest, the app did not generate any revenue during this period.

My Talking Tom 2, also from Outfit7 Limited, had a consistent download trend with a slight dip in early September but recovered towards the end of the month. Revenue fluctuated, with notable peaks in July at $70 and late August at $50.

Finally, My Talking Angela maintained a steady download rate, with numbers ranging from 50 to 127 throughout the quarter. Revenue remained relatively stable, with weekly figures around $11 to $20.
